There are a range of running events for you to take part in including 10k's, half marathons and marathons. We can support you all the way by providing sponsor forms, t-shirts and lots more! On Sunday 4 August 2013, the fifth York 10K will take place. This Year YTHC have partnered up with Jane Tomlinson's York 10k so we're hoping our most popular running event of the year is even bigger and better. As the route takes you on a tour of the stunning city, you'll pass the iconic York Minster, before heading towards the riverside and experiencing the city walls and landmarks such as Clifford's Tower and the Shambles. Near the start line is the Charity Village with its fairground rides and refreshment stalls to keep family and friends entertained! The most exciting new running event to hit the UK in 2013 arrives in the White Rose County on Sunday 20 October. The highly-anticipated Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon takes runners through the beautiful medieval City of York and its picture perfect countryside in the county's biggest marathon. The ING New York Marathon will take place on Sunday 3 November 2013. The ING New York City Marathon is one of the world's great road races, drawing more than 100,000 applicants annually. If you are interested in taking part, please visit www.ingnycmarathon.org.

The Leeds 10k takes place on Sunday 14 July 2013. Having established itself as a key event, not only in the region's sporting calendar but also the charity sector, the 2013 Leeds 10k is hoped to be the most successful fundraising event yet! Be there for the start, Sunday 2 June 2013. A new edition to the For All Events running calendar for 2013. Join thousands of seasoned, charity and fun runners alike in the inaugural Pennine 10k, for what promises to be a successful sporting and fundraising event. Starting and finishing outside the historic Mechanics building, the route takes you on a tour of Thompson Park, alongside the lake before reaching the stunning landmark of Towneley Hall. The Bupa Great North Run is the premier event in the Great Run series and firmly established as Britain's biggest participation event. The Bupa Great North Run will take place on Sunday 15 September 2013. For more information and to register please visit www.greatrun.org.
