Open days will be taking place at York, Scarborough and Bridlington hospitals and a series of roadshows at our community hospitals that both members of the public and staff can participate in. Here are the dates for your diary.

Our regional NHS Carol Service will take place on Wednesday 12 December in York Minster at 7.30pm.
Our next presentation will be about our Urgent Care Centre. The centre has been recently developed within our Emergency Department at our York Hospital site.
The presentation will be held on Wednesday 31 October 2012, 12.30 - 1.30pm in the Postgraduate Lecture Theatre, 5th Floor, The York Hospital, Wigginton Road, York, YO31 8HE.

The Head and Neck Department would like to invite you to a festive event with mince pies and mulled fruit punch on Thursday 1 December to celebrate the beautiful artwork on display in the department. Find out more here...
A Christmas Fair is taking place on Sunday 4 December between 1-5pm at the York Hospital Social Club. There will be a range of stalls including hand made cards and gifts, cup cakes, Avon products, toys, jewellery, vintage sweets and a café shop with home baked treats. There will also be a raffle and a chance to meet Father Christmas! There is a £1 entry fee and all money raised will be donated to the York Teaching Hospital Charity.

An exclusive 'Ladies Christmas Cocktail Making evening' has been organised in support of the York Teaching Hospital Charity at Yatess' Wine Bar in York. The evening will take place in Yatess' upstairs lounge on Thursday 8th December, starting at 8pm.
Ladies will receive a glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival and have the opportunity to make up to 3 cocktails each during the evening. Nibbles will also be provided and a raffle with great prizes will take place on the evening.

The Trust is supporting Interfaith Week. An exhibition will be available in the Chapel at The York Hospital. You can access more information about what's on here.
Our annual Open Event has become the health event in York and this year we aim to reflect the challenges we face, our integration with community services and how our teams work together to deliver high quality patient care.
Our open day this year takes place on Wednesday 14 September, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm. Stalls, presentations and tours will be taking place throughout the hospital. Come along to the main entrance where you will be greeted and given a programme of the different events and activities taking place throughout the afternoon.
At the end of the afternoon, our Annual General Meeting will take place from 5.30pm to 7.00pm in the hospital chapel. You can download the agenda for the AGM here. We hope to see many of our staff and public members attending to pose questions to the Board of Directors.
