The Full-Time Chaplain (Church of England) for Scarborough Hospital is The Revd Martin Doe, who is supported by a team of chaplaincy volunteers.
The Chapel, Chaplains’ Office and Quiet Room are situated on the ground floor behind the Main Reception. The Chapel is open between 6:30am and 10:30pm. It is locked overnight for security reasons. However, access to the chapel is possible outside opening hours via the Emergency Department Reception.
A weekday chapel service takes place on Wednesdays at 3:00pm.
Patients are welcome to receive Holy Communion on the ward on Sunday, or at other times.
We always welcome referrals of anyone who would appreciate support during their time in hospital. To refer someone to the chaplaincy department, telephone the main office or if your call is urgent, contact the main switchboard on (01723) 368111, they will contact the appropriate person.

9.00am to 9.00pm one birth partner and siblings.
Any other visitor can visit 2.00pm-4.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm.
No children under the age of 12 unless they are siblings of the baby.
Visitors are restricted to 2 per bed in addition to partners.
