Why York?
One of the great benefits of coming to work for our Trust is the opportunity to live in, or in proximity to York itself. As a city, it is internationally renowned for its beauty and heritage. Its city centre, made famous by the iconic Minster and Shambles, is a bustling and vibrant hub for a range of activities; whether you're interested in relaxing in one of its huge number of bars, pubs and cafes, visiting one of its numerous museums or tourist attractions or enjoying a little retail therapy in its many and varied shops. Ideally placed on the East Coast Main Line for rail journeys to London, Scotland, or cross-country, York also has excellent road links which ensure easy access to the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside.
