York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a large and successful organisation. We currently provide acute hospital services for approximately 350,000 people living in and around York, and also a range of specialist services over a wider catchment area of around 500,000 in North Yorkshire. We have been a high performing Foundation Trust since April 2007 with the latest CQC Health rating us as excellent and good. In addition, the Dr Foster quality accounts placed the Trust 20th in the country with a patient safety score of 86.99.
