Freya chose to organise the raffle in support of SCBU after her sister was cared for on the unit. Freya asked local attractions and businesses as well as friends and family to donate prizes. Special thanks go to children and parents from both the infant and junior schools in Bishopthorpe who bought lots of tickets together with all Freya's family who also did a fantastic job selling tickets.

Archbishop of York's Junior School was extremely supportive allowing Freya to sell tickets, which she did every playtime, and the Head Teacher, Mr Green, performed the raffle draw during assembly.

Freya said, "The people who bought the tickets are the reason I have raised over £300. I am amazed I have raised so much money. Archbishop of York's Junior School is the best school ever and Mr Green, my mum and Lucy from the hospital have helped me a lot. I really enjoyed organising the raffle."

Ann Elliot, Sister on SCBU said, "I would like to say a big thank you to Freya for organising a raffle to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit. Also thank you to all who generously gave her raffle prizes and bought the tickets."
