White Cross Court Rehabilitation Hospital

White Cross Court Rehabilitation Hospital provides geriatric medicine services as part of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s general healthcare provision. It is registered to provide nursing care for up to 23 patients. There are four double rooms and the remainder are for single occupancy. Patients are admitted to regain confidence with their mobility, usually following a bone injury.

New group for retired NHS staff in York

A new group has been set up in York where people who have retired from the NHS can meet up and socialise. The NHS Retirement Fellowship (NHSRF) has over 200 branches nationwide and has recently added York to its list. The group has received the backing of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Visiting times

Open visiting, with the exception of mealtimes
12 noon - 1pm for lunch
4.45 pm - 6pm
unless visitors are assisting a relative with feeding.
