Make a Freedom of Information request

Under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000, the public has the right to see information held by public authorities, including NHS organisations.

The Act is designed to increase transparency.  Members of the public should be able to routinely access information that is in the public interest and is safe to disclose, unless there is a good reason for them not to.

The Act allows access to recorded information, such as policies and procedures, reports, minutes of meetings, and correspondence.  For more information visit the Freedom of Information section of our website.
