- Revd Tania Brosnan (Methodist) Chaplain, part time
- Revd Martin Doe (Church of England) Senior Chaplain, full time, based at York Hospital
- A team of chaplaincy volunteers visit the wards regulalry
The Chapel, Chaplains’ Office and Quiet Room are situated on the ground floor behind the Main Reception. The Chapel is open between 6:30am and 10:30pm. It is locked overnight for security reasons. However, access to the chapel is possible outside opening hours via the Emergency Department Reception.
A new pattern of Chapel Services is currently being established.
Patients are welcome to receive Holy Communion on the ward on Sunday, or at other times.
We always welcome referrals of anyone who would appreciate support during their time in hospital. To refer someone to the chaplaincy department, telephone the main office or if your call is urgent, contact the main switchboard on (01723) 368111, they will contact the appropriate person. If your referral relates to a patient at Scarborough or Bridlington Hospital please ensure that you mention 'Scarborough Hospital.'

9.00am - 9.00pm one birth partner and siblings.
Any other visitor can visit 11am - 8.00pm.
No children under the age of 12 unless they are siblings of the baby.
Visitors are restricted to 2 per bed in addition to partners.
