Candidates sought for Chief Executive post

Following the retirement in May 2018 of Patrick Crowley, Chief Executive of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,  the search has begun for a new substantive Chief Executive Officer.

The Trust is seeking an outstanding individual who will bring visible, inspirational leadership as well as resilience and substantial experience at a very senior level of a complex healthcare organisation. 

Susan Symington, the Trust’s Chair said: “Our ambitions for our Trust are significant and this is a remarkable leadership opportunity, but it’s not only leadership skills we seek, we are also looking for an individual who relates to the strong values which guide our behaviours. With opportunities to develop our external partnerships and our reputation locally, regionally and nationally, this role is a compelling proposition, a once-in-a-lifetime leadership challenge and a genuine opportunity to influence the sustainable future of health services.”
