Invitation to attend the Trust’s first virtual online Annual Members’ Meeting
TRUST MEMBERS and the general public are invited to find out more about their local hospitals by attending the Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM), incorporating the Annual General Meeting (AGM), of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, which runs hospital services and out of hospital care in York and North Yorkshire.
It will be the Trust’s first online virtual AGM/AMM in support of social distancing rules, and will be held on Tuesday 13 October 2020 between 9:00am-10:30am.
The Trust is hoping that holding the meeting online will allow more people than ever to get involved. You'll be able to find out more about the work of the Trust, our challenges and achievements during 2019/20 including how we are responding to Covid-19, our annual accounts and hear about the Trust’s plans for the year ahead. There will also be a chance to ask questions of the Trust’s leadership team.
Susan Symington, Trust Chair, said: “The AGM/AMM is open to all of the Trust’s members, our own staff, as well as the general public. The event offers everyone the opportunity to share their views with us and participate in learning more about the activities of the Trust.”
You can join the event from anywhere, on any device - PC, smartphone or tablet -using a Chrome or Edge browser.
Attendees will need to pre-register their place by emailing tracy.astley@york.nhs.uk, with your name, email address and whether you are a member of the public or represent an organisation. Access to the AGM/AMM will be via a web link, which will be shared with you the day prior to the event.
Copies of the Annual Report and Accounts will be available on the Trust website from Wednesday 13 October 2020.
Everyone's attendance is warmly welcomed.
