Governor elections 2012

York has been a Foundation Trust for five years and has established clear processes for involving its elected and appointed Governors in oversight of its activities - through the Council of Governors.

The acquisition of Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare NHS Trust on 1 July 2012 marks a significant moment in the development of healthcare services in North and East Yorkshire. As a result of this a range of elections were held to fill new and vacated Governor positions.

The election process is being managed by Electoral Reform Services (ERS) on the Trust's behalf to ensure that the processes are independent.

Voting has now closed and the results can be made public. You can download the results here. Only one candidate put themselves forward to represent community-based staff, so no election was held. You can download the results for that seat here.
