Patient and visitor travel survey

This is the first edition of an annual survey we will be conducting with the aim to improve the transport services and enhance the visitor and patient experience at our Trust.

We'd like people to complete this survey if they've visited our Trust in the last year either for an appointment, an emergency visit or as a visitor. (Please use your most recent visit to answer the questions).

As part of our on-going commitment to encourage sustainable travel, we are developing a Trust-wide travel plan for our key operational sites.

As part of this exercise we are keen to gather information on how patients and visitors currently travel to hospital to establish if improvements can be made to patient and/or visitor experience and to increase sustainable travel.

In order to do this, we'd appreciate your time and feedback by completing  our survey here .

Please make your answers as comprehensive as possible – the more data we receive, the more effective our resultant travel plan will be.

All answers will be non-attributable – any data collected will only be used for the travel plan and will not be given to any third parties.

Deadline for responses: Friday 9 September

Prize Draw

All responses will go into a prize draw to win either:

  • A free week-long bus ticket on any First Bus service
  • An afternoon tea at Betty’s York, courtesy of Enterprise Rent-a-car, York

The draw will be made in September and winners will be notified by email.
