York Hospital Open Day and AGM

Members of the pubic will have the opportunity to learn more about York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust via an Open Day on Thursday 19 September from 2.30pm.

Visitors will be able to meet with staff from across the hospital and learn more about the role they play in helping patients on the road to recovery.

There will be many stalls to visit, each jam-packed with information on the services offered including physiotherapy, diabetes, ophthalmology and neurology. Find out about the cutting edge research and development that the Trust is involved in.

Anyone interested in a career with the NHS can visit the recruitment stand to find out more about the roles available.

Don’t forget to drop in for a tea and cake at the ‘More Tea Vicar’ session held in the Chapel.

The Chief Executive, The Chairman and the directors of the Trust will be there on the day to meet with the public and answer any questions people may have. The AGM will follow the Open Day 5.00pm-6.30pm.You can access an agenda for the AGM here

This is just one of a number of ‘Open Health’ events taking place across the region during 2013 which is aimed at giving people the opportunity to find out more about their local Trust.
