Update on Trust IT issues following cyber attack

We have been working hard to restore our systems following the cyber attack. Our radiology and pathology systems are back up and running, however we are still limited as to the number of PCs we have available across the Trust, and this continues to have an impact on some services. We hope to be able to run outpatient services as planned, wherever possible, from Monday 15 May 2017, however we are reviewing the situation again tomorrow (Sunday 14 May 2017) and will provide an update if there are certain outpatient clinics or appointments that need to be rescheduled. We are grateful for everyone’s understanding and patience as we continue to deal with this incident. We continue to ask that people think carefully before attending A&E, to help avoid unnecessary additional pressure on our services.
