Helvellyn Sunset Walk

Join us for a classic climb up Helvellyn with a twist and see the spectacular views of the Lake District as the sun sets in the west.

Starting from Thirlmere, the walk takes you directly to the to on a stepped route. From Helvellyn views of the Lake District are immense. With the immediate view of Red Tarn, Striding Edge to Scafell Pike and the stunning views of Thirlmere.

We will remain at the top to watch Sunset for around 20 minutes before starting the descent. This means, we will be walking down in the dark and you will need appropriate gear including a waterproof headtorch.

This is a guided walk with full mountain support from KUTA Outdoors and we will provide you with a full detailed itinerary and kit list upon sign up.
