Statutory and essential training

Spring/Summer 2014 will bring the arrival of the 'Learning Hub' which will be York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust’s new learning management system and has been designed to improve access to learning for all staff functionality which includes:

  • Online booking of courses
  • Easy access to play e-learning
  • Ability to view and print your training history (if you are a manager you can also see all your team’s training history)
  • Ability to view full training profiles for yourself including status and date for renewal (if you are a manager you can also see all your team’s profiles)
  • Easy access to view just those courses which are either ‘overdue’ or just about to become ‘overdue’

Once Learning Hub is implemented you will be given access to this new learning management system and more information will be found here. However, in the meantime, if you wish discuss your Statutory & Essential training needs or find out what training we offer, please contact the team using the details below.

Visiting update

To protect our patients, staff, visitors and the community, we are again restricting visitors to all our hospitals sites so please read our latest guidance for full details before coming to our hospitals.

The decision to restrict visitors during this time has been very difficult and made only after careful consideration as we witness wider social restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in light of the highly transmissible OMICRON variant.  The guidance will be reviewed regularly.
