Working in therapies
The therapy services across York and Scarborough are at the front of improving patient independence and contributing to service improvements.
We want our new graduates to feel inspired by the opportunities that they get to make a real difference not only in the care that patients receive now but also in shaping the future of service delivery. Our physiotherapy and occupational therapy graduate rotational schemes offer each member of staff to get a comprehensive range of experiences in a variety of settings including, in-patient community and outpatient areas.
We have a well-developed supervision framework in place and an excellent network of senior staff who can support the development of specialist clinical skills. Our rotations will allow the development of core clinical skills and allow you to become more confident in all areas of patient care and clinical reasoning.
We want staff to feel part of our team and to get the most out of all the experiences our roles can offer. We help our graduates to make social contacts as well as professional networks so that they can settle in, find friends, and start their professional career in a supportive and friendly environment.
