How to save the Staff Benefits and Wellbeing section to your home screen

iPad or iPhone

Launch “Safari” app.
Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap “Go.”
Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.

Android

Launch “Chrome” app.
Open this link.
Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

Point Zero Trampoline Park - Ticket Refunds!

We are sad to announce that due to a change in management, Point Zero Trampoline Park York will no longer be accepting the NHS tickets sold through our Staff Shops. If you are still in possession of a ticket, please visit your local Staff Shop for a refund. Please note, refunds will not be issued after 30th April 2023.

Introduction:

The Staff Shops cater for a busy workforce, stocking a range of products at competitive prices. Everyday items such as milk, tea and coffee can be purchased with a varied selection of consumable goods, confectionery and soft drinks. Both Staff Shops sell a variety of discounted tickets for cinemas and days out. Not forgetting bus tickets, discounted paint and other special offers. Staff Lottery Members:

Staff who are in the Staff Lottery also get a further 10% discount off goods (excluding tickets, paint and stamps).

Crown Trade Paint

Crown Trade Paints supply paint to Trust staff at extremely reduced prices and can be ordered via the Staff Shop's. To place an order please visit your local Staff Shop and complete an order from or email yhs-tr.staff.shop@nhs.net with your order details.

Emergency sanitary products for staff:

Trust staff can access emergency sanitary products when is need, free of charge from the following locations:

York Hospital - Staff Shop, please ask at the till (this service will be available on the shop floor, so staff can take what they need from 1st May)

Scarborough Hospital - Staff Shop, please ask at the till (this service will be available on the shop floor, so staff can take what they need from 1st May)

Bridlington Hospital - Calm Room, please take what you need from the sanitary product station (available from 1st May)

Selby Hospital - Staff Room, please take what you need from the sanitary product station

Malton Hospital - Calm Room, please take what you need from the sanitary product station (available from 1st May)

These products have been provided by both Staff Benefits and Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership

Important Notice: Extending the emergency sanitary products from York/ Scarborough Hospitals to Bridlington, Selby and Malton Hospitals falls under phase two of the emergency sanitary products trial. Regretfully, we are unable to provide this service to other sites at this time.

How to Book Flamingo Land Tickets

From 2023, all Flamingo Land tickets bought through the Staff Shop's will require you to book online at least 30 minutes prior to your arrival. Tickets sold through the Staff Shops will have a unique booking code, once you've bought your ticket from the Staff Shops, follow the instructions below for how to use this code:

1. Click here to visit the flamingo land website or type www.flamingoland.co.uk into your browser and click the 'Book Tickets' icon

2. Select 'Theme Park & Zoo Admission' then select the date of your visit

3. Select 'General Admission (1 person, aged 4+)' and add in the quantity of tickets you have purchased from the Staff Shop (You can add additional tickets at this stage if needed), once complete click 'Next'

4. You are then given the option to add tickets for persons under 4 years old, select the quantity and click 'Next'. Once complete select 'Add to Shopping Cart'

5. Select 'Enter Discount Code' and a box will appear underneath. Type in the discount code on your ticket from the Staff Shop and click 'Apply'. Do this for every ticket you have bought from the Staff Shop.

6. Select 'Continue' and add your personal details to complete your booking. Card details will be requested for any additional paid tickets added to your order that are not bought from the Staff Shop.

7. Within 30 minutes you will receive an email with your e-tickets. You can either print these tickets or show them on your phone/ smart device at the gate on entry to Flamingo Land.
