Residents invited to help shape the future of health and care in Bridlington

10 July 2026

People across Bridlington and the east coast are being invited to help shape the future of local health and care services by attending a series of community engagement events later this month.

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, together with health and care partners, is encouraging patients, local residents, staff and community organisations to share their experiences, ideas and priorities as work continues to develop a long-term vision for health services in Bridlington.

The informal drop-in events will give people the opportunity to meet staff from local health and care organisations, find out more about services available in the town, learn about future plans for Bridlington Hospital, and understand the proposals for the Bridlington Care Unit and wider local health and care services.

Visitors will be able to speak directly with teams, ask questions and share what matters most to them and their communities.

The engagement events will take place at Bridlington Spa:

  • Monday 27 July, 4pm to 7pm
  • Tuesday 28 July, 10am to 1pm

No booking is required, and people are welcome to drop in at any time during the sessions.

For those unable to attend an event, there will be other opportunities to share feedback, including through an online survey, which will launch in the coming days.

Feedback gathered through the engagement will help inform the longer-term development of health and care services in Bridlington.
