The Trust Library Service offers resources and support to help all staff and students find reliable information for patient care, research, education, governance, and professional development.
Both main hospital sites have libraries that provide computers, study areas, photocopiers, and scanners.
Staff can find out more about our Library Service on the Library Service Staff Room page. If your accessing Staff Room from a personal device, you'll need to log in using your Trust system username and password.
The York Hospital Library is based on the 5th floor of the Admin Block. Find us by taking the lift from the main entrance to floor 5.
The library is staffed from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).
Staff and students can use the library 24/7 using swipe access with an enabled ID badge.
The Scarborough Hospital Library is located in the Postgraduate Education Centre.
The library is staffed from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 4.30pm on Friday (except bank holidays).
Please note, the centre doors are closed at 4.30pm on Monday to Friday.
Staff and students can use the library from 6am to 11pm every day. Please speak to the Library Team for a door code.
