Gynaecological cancer

Who are we?

We are a team of nurses who specialise in the care and support of people with a suspected or diagnosed gynaecological cancer. This may include cancers of the ovary, womb (endometrial), cervix and vulva. A Clinical Nurse Specialist (sometimes called a CNS) is available to every patient diagnosed with a cancer.

We have a voicemail facility if you wish to leave a message, which we check regularly and aim to return your call within 24 hours.We are based at both York and Scarborough hospitals and our working hours are 8am - 4pm each Mon - Fri (excluding bank holidays).

Update for visitors

We understand these restrictions can be difficult when a loved one is unwell. The restrictions will be reviewed daily and lifted as soon as it is safe. Thank you for your understanding as we try to reduce the spread of norovirus in our hospitals.
