i am attempting the swim 22 to raise money for diabetes uk and keen to improve my diabetes control the first session I followed what a spokesman said at the diabetes conference and reduces my lantus by 20% and my humalog by 75% and it kept my bloods at a steady pace which was amazing I still needed some glucose tablets half way at 16 lenghs of yearsley the second day I did the same but my bloods where all over the place I'm unsure if it's because it was following day of exercise so gonna try again this week and separating the swims with a nights rest and hopefully it will work

Update for visitors

Visiting restrictions are in place at our hospitals to stop the spread of norovirus. These restrictions will be in place until further notice.

We understand these restrictions can be difficult when a loved one is unwell. The restrictions will be reviewed daily and lifted as soon as it is safe. Thank you for your understanding as we try to reduce the spread of norovirus in our hospitals.
