| Limitations | Haemolysis may interfere with bilirubin measurement. In very rare cases gammopathy, especially monoclonal IgM (Waldenströms macroglobulinaemia), may cause unreliable results. Hydroxocobalamin or Cyanokit (cyanide antidote) may cause interference. |
