Sample should be sent to the laboratory on the same day of sample collection, otherwise may not be able to process in the required timescale. For York: sample should arrive before 4 pm. Samples arriving in the laboratory after 4 pm would be rejected. For Scarborough: Sample should arrive in the laboratory before 2:45 pm. Sample arriving after 2:45 pm would be rejected.
