Hand and wrist

We undertake a number of different types of hand and wrist surgery, including those to treat conditions caused by trauma, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, carpel tunnel syndrome, and Depuytren’s contracture.

Hand and wrist surgery takes place at our York and Bridlington sites, and some minor surgery is undertaken in our outpatients department at the Clifton Park outpatients department in York.

Update for visitors

Visiting restrictions are in place at our hospitals to stop the spread of norovirus. These restrictions will be in place until further notice.

We understand these restrictions can be difficult when a loved one is unwell. The restrictions will be reviewed daily and lifted as soon as it is safe. Thank you for your understanding as we try to reduce the spread of norovirus in our hospitals.
