Physiotherapist

The physiotherapist in the pain clinic looks to assist you in reactivation as long term pain can lead to reduced activity levels. Helping you to gain confidence with activity can benefit long term pain, but can also have a positive impact on overall health. We approach activity and exercise through graded exposure to ensure a steady increase in activity over a period of time.

We aim to provide this through 1:1 appointments where we can give individualised advice, but we also have access to a gym class which is run by a physiotherapist from the pain clinic. We can also advise regarding ongoing exercise schemes locally to help you to make lifelong changes.
