Has anyone tried one of the insulin pump leg holsters? I'm thinking of getting one but they are quite expensive. I would appreciate some feedback from someone who has tried one. Many thanks.

Hello, I have tried one but found it quite bulky. If you want it so that you can wear a dress, your best bet is some good old tubi bandage, the elastic will hold the pump in place if you clip it inside with your pump clip to the outside. It's a lot more breathable than a holster too!

That's a fantastic help. Thank you.

I made my own (for my wedding day in fact!) with a wide piece of elastic and a phone sock stitched to the outside. Held perfectly still all day and since there is no need for the pump clip, it's very slimline.

Hi

I use one but only for bed I find it slips so may not be useful for a lady wearing a dress during the day

Thanks to all for your feedback. I think I'll try the wide elastic or tubi bandage rather than spend £40 on a leg holster. I'll let you know how I get on!
