At York Hospital, planned orthopaedic care is based on Ward 29 and trauma care on ward 26. If you are having a day surgery procedure, you will either stay on the Day Unit, or stay overnight on the Extended Stay Area.
We also have an orthopaedic outpatient clinic which is held on the 1st Floor, Admin Block, close to Main Reception.
Resident doctors will be taking strike action from 7am on 17 December to 7am on 22 December. Some appointments and procedures may be affected. If your appointment needs to be changed, we will contact you.
If you've not heard from us, please attend your appointment as planned.
