Staff Shops
Have you visited our Staff Shops? They sell an amazing variety of everyday essentials at competitive prices, including your favourite drinks, snacks and lunch alternatives and a range of stationary, household goods, toiletries, gift ideas, occasion cards, postage stamps and seasonal products.
In addition both Staff Shops also sell discounted tickets for local cinemas and attractions (for ticket availability and prices, see below) and Crown Paint at a reduced price (please ask at the till for price list).
How to save the Staff Benefits and Wellbeing section to your home screen
iPad or iPhone
- Launch “Safari” app.
- Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap “Go.”
- Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
- Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
- Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.
Android
- Launch “Chrome” app.
- Open this link.
- Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
- You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

Announcement - Discontinuation of Flamingo Land Tickets for 2026
Please note that Flamingo Land tickets will no longer be sold in our staff shops. This is due to increased competition from other companies offering more competitive pricing, along with a continued decline in sales, we are no longer able to compete in this are and offer staff the best value for money.
Vue Cinema Tickets - Terms and Conditions
- Tickets should be used at the time of the exchange and are valid for single-use only.
- Voucher is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. In no circumstances can voucher codes be sold or gifted to third parties, nor may they be exchanged for cash or merchandise.
- Voucher codes may not be used in conjunction with any other ticket offer, including Meerkat Movies.
- Vouchers can be redeemed at myvue.com, on the Vue app, or at the box office.
- Expiry date and validity of your vouchers(s) is outlined by the Partner. These are not subject to any extensions. Tickets are strictly subject to availability, Vue shall not be responsible for a customer’s failure to redeem, book or obtain a suitable seat booking within the time prescribed limits.
- Upgrades for IMAX, EPIC by VUE, Scene at Westfield, Ultra Lux and Lux seats at Birmingham, Basildon, Bedford, Dublin, Staines, West End, are available for an additional cost.
- Upgrades and additional fees are charged by and payable to Vue.
- Vouchers are not valid for Event Cinema screenings (Big Screen Events), Movie Marathons (multiple films for one price), and Special Previews.
- Due to Vue’s advance booking policy, the film you wish to attend may be sold out and seats might not be available. The holder is not entitled to any preferential right over other cinema patrons.

Are you based at a site that doesn't have a Staff Shop?
Unfortunately, we are unable to open Staff Shops at all our sites across York and Scarborough Trust due to financial viability. But that doesn't mean you cant access great savings! If you are an employee who works at Bridlington, Malton, Selby, Hull or in the community and would like to purchase discounted tickets/ paint from our Staff Shops, please email yhs-tr.staff.shop@nhs.net and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
