Christmas Events
How to save the Staff Benefits and Wellbeing section to your home screen
iPad or iPhone
- Launch “Safari” app.
- Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap “Go.”
- Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
- Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
- Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.
Android
- Launch “Chrome” app.
- Open this link.
- Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
- You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
Christmas Markets:
The Staff Benefits Team organise a yearly Christmas market at both York and Scarborough Hospitals helping staff find those all important last minute Christmas gifts. We understand the difficulty of fitting in your Christmas shopping whilst working shifts, so we bring the Christmas market to you! Filled with festive music and fabulous stalls supporting a variety of local businesses.
2021 Dates:
There will be no Christmas Markets held during 2021 due to the pandemic and social distancing
2022 Dates:
York Hospital (The Hub, Ellerbys) -14th -16th and 19th -20th December 2022
Scarborough Hospital (The Staff Shop) -14th -16th and 19th -20th December 2022
Please note these dates are subject to change depending on circumstances nearer the time
Children's Christmas Party:
Unfortunately Staff Benefits will no longer be hosting a Children Christmas Party at York and Scarborough. But we have something better in the works! Check back nearer Christmas time to see what we have planned -we cant wait to announce it!
