Update: Malton Hospital services returning to normal

10 July 2026

From Monday (13 July), the majority of services at Malton Hospital will be running as normal.

If you have an appointment, please attend as planned unless you have been contacted directly and advised otherwise.

The Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) is operating as normal from today. However, X-ray services remain unavailable, and patients requiring imaging will be directed to alternative locations where appropriate.

While some areas of the hospital remain affected as we continue recovery work following the fire, we're pleased to be restoring services safely and would like to thank patients and the local community for their patience and understanding.

Finally, we'd like to thank our colleagues, partner organisations, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Malton School and the local community for their outstanding support over the past few days. Your professionalism, kindness and generosity have been greatly appreciated.
