The following retail outlets are situated within York Hospital.
Ellerby's Restaurant
Ellerby's Restaurant is situated at the end of York Hospital's main corridor and provides a catering service for staff and visitors. Ellerby's offers home-cooked food, deli sandwiches, a jacket potato bar, all-day fruit and yoghurt bar, a salad bar and barista style coffee. all served within the opening hours. Outside of the opening hours, hot and colds meals and snacks are available from the vending machines inside the restaurant.

Costa Coffee
Situated in the main foyer, the café has a comfortable seating area and sells hot and cold snacks, cakes, and a variety of coffees.

Amigo store
Newspapers, magazines, cards, sandwiches, drinks, confectionery, toiletries, stationery, gifts, lottery tickets, and postage stamps can all be purchased in the shop.

York Against Cancer Gift Shop
Greeting cards, gifts, ceramics, and toys on sale with 100% of the profits going to the charity. The shop is open from 10am until 4pm Monday to Friday.
Lloyds Pharmacy
The pharmacy, which is located in the hospital's main entrance, supports outpatients and emergency department patients who need medicines to take away following their consultation.
They also sell a range of over the counter medicines and toiletries.

Cash machine
A cash machine is located in the main reception area of York Hospital.
Post box
A post box is located at the entrance to York Hospital and the last collection is made at 4pm on weekdays and 12pm on Saturdays.

Are located in the main entrance and at various locations throughout the hospital.
Mobile phone chargers
We have two secure locations at York Hospital where staff, visitors and patients can charge mobiles free of charge. These are located in the Main Reception area (near Outpatients reception) and the Emergency Department. The units charge both I-phones and android devices.
Entertainment: Hospedia
Hospedia provides communication services to patients at York Hospital via bedside systems.
Hospedia is dedicated to making people's stay in hospital easier by providing some of the entertainment and communication choices they enjoy at home.
Hospedia bedside consoles provide a personal phone and personal number and the patient can choose just when and what they want to watch on television.
