If you need to access PIFU

If you experience a flare-up, please call 01904 726400 (open 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday) and explain to the team that you are experiencing a flare-up and you need to be seen.  The team will agree a suitable appointment date and time over the phone with you, within the next 28 days.

Contact us if you experience any of the following symptoms:

  • Persistent flare of joint symptoms that is failing to settle
  • Deterioration in your health that you feel relates to your arthritis

If you have any concerns associated with your condition, but not a flare up, you can contact the rheumatology advice line:

  • York and Selby: 01904 721854
  • Scarborough, Bridlington and Malton: 01723 385058

If you require urgent medical advice you should contact your GP or NHS 111, or if you are really unwell, your local emergency department (A&E).  For all other concerns, or if you are feeling unwell, your GP remains your first point of contact.

Coronavirus - useful information

The latest health information about Coronavirus can be found at www.gov.uk/coronavirus.

Information and updates about our services can be found on this website here.

From Monday 15 June 2020, visitors and outpatients coming into our hospitals will be asked to wear a face covering at all times, to help us reduce the spread of Covid-19.  A face covering can be as simple as a scarf or bandana that ties behind the head.  It should cover your mouth and nose while allowing you to breathe comfortably.  For more information click here
