The Dining Room

The Dining Room is located on the ground floor of the hospital. It is open for breakfast, lunch and supper for visitors and staff. Food is served at the following times.

Monday to Friday

Breakfast  9:30am  11.30am 
Lunch  12:00pm  1:45pm 


Hot drinks and snacks are available 24 hour from a vending machine located in the restaurant.

WRVS shop

The WRVS shop is situated in the main entrance and is open from 9am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday and occasionally on a weekend. The shop sells newspapers, confectionary, sandwiches and hot drinks. The WRVS also runs a trolley service which visits the wards on a daily basis, supplying patients with newspapers, magazines, confectionary and hot drinks.

Cash machine

Please note cash machine facilities are not available on site. The nearest cash machine is at Morrisons, five minutes drive away.

Post box

A Royal Mail post box is located in the main entrance and is collected at 5pm daily. Please note that this service is currently out of order.

Visiting times

Visiting is between 2pm-8pm.

Help us keep everyone safe this winter

We’re asking everyone to please help protect our patients, visitors and employees during the winter months.

If you’re feeling unwell, please don’t visit our hospitals - even for appointments or to see loved ones, unless it’s in exceptional circumstances such as end-of-life care or maternity.

Colds, flu, Covid and norovirus (sickness and diarrhoea) can spread easily and cause serious illness in vulnerable patients.

Please only come in once you’ve been free of symptoms for at least 48 hours.
