Scarborough Hospital

Kinder Place Nursery is situated onsite at Scarborough Hopsital and provides quality care and education for children aged 0 - 5 years in partnership with the Trust.

This nursery is set in the grounds of Scarborough Hospital. It is a single storey building with an enclosed safe outdoor play area to the rear.

The baby unit has an area for very young babies, an area where older babies can explore their world and become more involved in more messy play, a quiet resting area, and a nappy changing room.

The main over two’s room is large spacious space divided into areas of interest e.g. sand, water, construction, role play, creative area etc.

Leading off the main over two’s room is a room reserved for quiet play and relaxation with a small world area and a cosy area with books.

Coronavirus - useful information

The latest health information about Coronavirus can be found at www.gov.uk/coronavirus.  Information about our local services can be found on this website here.

From Monday 15 June 2020, visitors and outpatients coming into our hospitals will be asked to wear a face covering at all times, to help us reduce the spread of Covid-19.  A face covering can be as simple as a scarf or bandana that ties behind the head.  It should cover your mouth and nose while allowing you to breathe comfortably.  For more information click here.
