Support groups

Bridlington Bereavement Support Group

Do you live in Bridlington and are you struggling with bereavement? If so, you are welcome to join our group for companionship and a listening ear. Come and share tea, coffee, biscuits, and conversation.

The group is held on the third Thursday of each month, 2 - 3.30pm, at Bridlington Hospital Chapel.

This group offers a warm, supportive space where bereaved people can share their experiences, find comfort in each other’s stories, and feel less alone in their grief.

For more information about the group, email yhs-tr.chaplaincy@nhs.net.

Help us keep everyone safe this winter

We’re asking everyone to please help protect our patients, visitors and employees during the winter months.

If you’re feeling unwell, please don’t visit our hospitals - even for appointments or to see loved ones, unless it’s in exceptional circumstances such as end-of-life care or maternity.

Colds, flu, Covid and norovirus (sickness and diarrhoea) can spread easily and cause serious illness in vulnerable patients.

Please only come in once you’ve been free of symptoms for at least 48 hours.

When you do visit:

Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe this winter.
