Coming to bereavement services

The bereavement services team produce a booklet 'what to do during your bereavement' which shows where the bereavement services are located at Scarborough and York hospitals.

Finding Scarborough Hospital bereavement services:

From the north entrance at Scarborough site, you can park in the drop off zone labeled below, or from the main entrance follow the green signs to bereavement services.

Finding York Hospital bereavement services:

Parking is available in the multi-storey car park at the front of the hospital site. Parking spaces for disabled visitors are available at the main entrance of the hospital. Go through the main entrance onto the main corridor, turn left and the bereavement services are located between junction six and seven.

Update for visitors

Visiting restrictions are in place at our hospitals to stop the spread of norovirus. These restrictions will be in place until further notice.

We understand these restrictions can be difficult when a loved one is unwell. The restrictions will be reviewed daily and lifted as soon as it is safe. Thank you for your understanding as we try to reduce the spread of norovirus in our hospitals.
