Could your Fish & Chip shop support Scarborough Hospital by displaying our 'Chip In' poster in your window and encourage customers to 'Chip In' by making a text donation whilst they wait.

Text CHIPIN to 70085 to make a £1 donation that will go directly to Scarborough Hospital. *

Community Fundraiser Maya Liversidge said "We have seen a huge decline in donations from collecting tins as you can have expected over the last year. We were looking at how we could still raise donations from those places that would normally take a tin and we thought Fish & Chips shops, as they are very much open and well supported here on the East Coast".

If the pilot works well, the campaign will roll out to benefit our other hospitals in Bridlington, York and Selby.

If your shop would like to support 'Chip In', please email charity.fundraising@york.nhs.uk or call 01723 236210 and we will get a few laminated posters delivered for you to display.

Thank you to the following shops for signing up to support Chip In

Capplemans of Scarborough

Inghams of Filey

Harpers of Staxton

Small Fry of Scarborough

North Bay Fisheries of Scarborough

Newlands Fisheries of Scarborough

RJ's of Sherburn

* Texts cost £1 plus one standard rate message and you'll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you'd like to give £1 but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text CHIPINNOINFO to 70085
