Helvellyn Sunset Walk         Saturday 14 May 2022

Sunset View up Helvellyn

Helvellyn is a mountain in the English Lake District, the highest point of the Helvellyn range, a north–south line of mountains to the north of Ambleside, between the lakes of Thirlmere and Ullswater. It is the third highest mountain in England. It offers spectacular views of the Lake District, the West Coast and the Irish Sea.

The walk itself is guided and your leader will brief you fully on the evening of the walk. We intend to walk as a group and are very much about enjoying it rather than speed, but we won’t be too slow! There will be a guide at the front and back, so no one will be left behind.
