Your visit

Visiting

Wearing masks

Patients and visitors are no longer required to wear a surgical mask or face covering in communal areas in our hospitals, e.g. corridors, and most outpatient areas, although may choose to do so if they wish.

However, patients and visitors are asked to continue to wear a surgical mask or face covering on:

  • All wards
  • Haematology, oncology and renal clinics
  • Radiology departments
  • Emergency departments.

Masks and hand hygiene facilities are available at the hospital entrances.

Please do not visit our hospitals if you have symptoms of a respiratory virus infection (e.g. sore throat, runny nose, cough, fever).  This includes symptoms of Covid-19.

Visiting is allowed on Covid wards at the visitor's own risk.

Inpatient wards

For most wards visiting times are between 2pm and 8pm, and each patient is allowed up to two visitors at a time.

This must be pre-booked via telephone on the day of the visit. Call 01904 726 033.
