Health Visiting Team York

The York Health Visiting Team works in the community offering support and professional advice to all families with children aged birth to five years old.

The team includes:

• Health Visitors (qualified nurse and an additional specialist public health nurse degree)
• Children’s Nurses (qualified Nurse)
• Child Development Workers (Qualified Nursery Nurse or equivalent)
• Clerical Assistants.

We work in close partnership with parents, local Children’s Centre, GPs, Midwives, School Nurses, Mental Health workers, Community Groups, Charities and Social Care.
