About us

Our Supporters

Much of our work is generously funded by York Teaching Hospital Charity.  Working together we’re able to fulfil their aim of caring for local hospitals from York to the Yorkshire Coast.

We’re proud to work with Paintings in Hospitals, a collaboration enabling us to contribute to their aim of transforming the UK's health by using world-class art to inspire better health and wellbeing for patients, carers and communities.

We’re extremely grateful to work alongside a dedicated and passionate team of staff across all areas of our hospitals, from medical professionals to care staff, maintenance and clerical teams.

Support from the friends of our Trust’s hospitals and external funders is also greatly appreciated, including the Friends of York Hospitals, Jessie’s Fund and Arts Council England.

Royal College of Nursing members at our Trust are taking part in strike action Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 February from 7.00am to 8.00pm. This will impact services at our hospitals.

If you are due to attend an appointment and we haven't already contacted you, please come as planned.

On days where there is strike action, patients should only call 999 if it is a medical or mental health emergency (when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk).
