Constituency meetings

Our NHS Trust has a Council of Governors. The members of the Trust elect the majority of our 27 governors. The Council of Governors hold an annual constituency event which enables the membership of each constituency to meet with their elected Governor(s), as well as other senior people in the Trust, including the Trust Chair, other members of the Council of Governors, and our Lead Governor.

It is an opportunity to ask us questions and to share concerns and feedback. It is also an opportunity for the Chair to share information about the services we provide in your constituency, the challenges the Trust is striving to resolve, and the progress that has been made over the past 12 months.  

The meetings will be advertised in Membership Matters. An email will also be sent to each member nearer the time of each meeting.

 Please Note:  

If you are attending the East Coast constituency meeting you may find it more convenient to access the venue using the north entrance entry on Scalby Road if you are arriving by car. The map below shows this route. Presently there is extensive building work taking place at the hospital. The road leading to the Post Graduate Medical Education Centre from the usual public car park is closed and the nearest exit from the main building to get to the venue is also closed because of separate building work. More than £30 million of funding has been received from NHS England to build a new pathology laboratory, replace some roofing and remove/replace RACC concrete and install a modern heating and hot water system eliminating the use of steam generating boilers. Car parking for the meeting is available very close to the Post Graduate Medical Education Centre as you can see on the map.
